The premiere episode of HBO 24/7: Mayweather vs. Ortiz gave us a look inside the earliest stages of the training camps for undefeated superstar boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz.
The first episode introduced us to 24/7 newcomer Victor Ortiz and his camp comprised of hardworking blue collar members, his trainer Danny Garcia still works as a Coca-Cola truck driver and another one of Victor’s team members works as a gardener. The ending of episode one ended on a bitter note, as Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his father Floyd Mayweather Sr. got into a debate over two female fighters that eventually turned into a heated argument that almost had father and son coming to blows.
Episode two of 24/7: Mayweather vs. Ortiz will air tonight September 3 on HBO at 10:00 PM ET/PT, 30 minutes before the Andre Berto vs. Jan Zaveck live HBO Boxing After Dark event.
