So boxing magazine The Ring released the covered fro their latest issue and it features artwork for the Oscar De La Hoya vs. Manny Pacquiao Mega Fight aka The Dream Fight.
The big match pits the Golden Boy Oscar De La Hoya against the much smaller former featherweight and current lightweight world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao in a fight that many people think is a cherry pick by the much bigger De La Hoya.
Casual fans will still tune in out of curiosity even though the boxing purist are calling it a joke fight and a money grab by team Pacquiao because they give him little to no shot, stating the obvious that a good little man cannot beat a good bigger man, even how long in the tooth Oscar is, he should still have enough to fend off the much smaller man.
What do you think? I think it looks pretty good beats the typical photograph cover of the other magazines. The Cover is for the Ring Magazine November 2008 edition the art work is done by Richard T. Slone who does countless other Boxing/MMA Potraits.
Now my all time favorite Ring Magazine Cover is the one with Tommy “Hitman” Hearns in the Mobster uniform and Tommy gun.(show below)
