The multiple division world champion De La Hoya is a hero to the inner city of East Los Angeles, having came from nothing to becoming an Olympic Gold Medalist representing the USA in 1992 and becoming champion in boxing to being one of the highest paid athletes ever.
De La Hoya is in intense training as he prepares to take on the ferocious Filipino southpaw Manny Pacquiao in a Dream Fight for the ages as Oscar will go back down in weight to 147 pounds after campaigning at 160 and 154 pound division to try to reclaim the title of pound for pound king against the Pacman.
Oscar refuses to let the people hate on the match up and suggest that size is no issue that Pacquiao is dangerous fight even though he is coming all the way up from 135 pounds.
