MONTREAL- In the grand scheme of boxing, a victory against Walid Smichet might not greatly raise Peter Manfredo’s stock.
But after being dismantled in three rounds last November by Sakio Bika for the vacant and little-known International Boxing Organization’s version of the super-middleweight title, Manfredo needed to rebound – for his psyche, if nothing else.
