A week before the big Vegas boxing match on Nov. 14th(HBO Pay Per View) between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, the two men who helped get the fighters ready will go at it on ESPN Wednesday night fights tonight Nov. 4th on ESPN 2 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
Rashad Holloway a welterweight who trains at the Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California, has helped the pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao for his previous fights with Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton as a chief sparring partner.
Francisco “Gato” Figueroa who had helped Miguel Cotto for his previous bouts with Zab Judah and Shane Mosley and recently for Cotto’s up coming bout with Manny Pacquiao until he was reportedly fired by Cotto for showboating and clowning around during sparring.
The bout is only 8 rounds but it should be interesting which sparring partner is better in the ring.
The Main Event will be headlined Jason “The American Boy” Litzau vs. Johnnie Edwards. Litzau, known for his crowd pleasing style is on the comeback trail since his KO loss to Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero in February 08.
