Floyd Mayweather Jr. was just in Miami, Florida last week hyping up his May 1, 2010 fight with “Sugar” Shane Mosley during Super Bowl festivities. Now Mayweather is in Dallas, Texas for NBA All-Star Weekend to continue promoting his upcoming fight with Shane Mosley.
Floyd did an interview with NBA.com’s The Jump to discuss basketball, boxing and the Manny Pacquiao fallout over random blood and urine testing for steroids.
Floyd discusses various topics with The Jump, like who he thinks should be MVP between Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Kevin Durant, and the comparison with boxing and basketball.
Mayweather Jr. was there to hype up his upcoming welterweight bout with Mosley, but instead of discussing the May 1st fight with NBA.com he brings up the issue between him and Manny Pacquiao on why the fight didn’t happen and how he wants to clean up the sport of boxing and sports in general.
Watch Mayweather Jr. on The Jump:
The NBA slam dunk competition will be on Saturday Feb. 13 and the All-Star game will take place on Sunday Feb. 14 at the brand new Jerry Jones, Dallas Cowboys Stadium the same site that will host the March 13, 2010 Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey fight.
