Saturday, February 13, 2010, Filipino and Latino boxers will go head to head in a stacked Top Rank Promotions boxing card titled “Pinoy Power 3/Latin Fury 13” featuring some of the best lower weight fighters and rising young stars today.
Filipino-American boxer Nonito “Filipino Flash” Donaire takes on late replacement Manuel “Chango” Vargas of Mexico in the super flyweight Main Event. Vargas replaced Gerson Guerrero after doctors discovered Guerrero had a detached retina at the pre-fight physical.

The card will also feature Manny Pacquiao stablemates and Freddie Roach trained fighters, Top Rank newly signed prospect Jose Benavidez, Bernabe Concepcion who is a possible future opponent for Puerto Rican featherweight champ Juan Manuel Lopez should Concepcion win his bout against Mario Santiago.
The aging veteran Gerry Penalosa will face fellow veteran Puerto Rican Eric Morel. In the Co-Feature, Mexican boxing champion, Fernando Montiel, will put his WBO bantamweight title on the line against untested young Filipino boxer Ciso Morales. Russian Olympian Matt Korobov will fight on the non-televised portion of the card as well as Filipino-Hawaiin amateur champion Bruno Escalante who will make his pro debut.
