Very few people give Yuri Foreman the props he deserves, he is undefeated, has very slick boxing moves and was avoided by the so called most fearsome man in the game today, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.
Foreman, a devout Jew, owns the WBA light middleweight title, he was eyed as the next opponent for Manny Pacquiao when the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight fell through.
Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, and Bob Arum, Pacquiao’s promoter, both expressed interest in putting the Pacquiao-Foreman match together, but it was Pacquiao himself who declined to take the challenge of winning a record 8 titles in 8 different weight divisions.
Manny Pacquiao didn’t want to fight Yuri because he was too big and tall for him, remember Oscar De La Hoya is just as tall as Yuri, but some how Yuri was more of a threat.
Pacquiao has since then signed to fight Joshua Clottey at Dallas Cowboy stadium on March 13 and Foreman will fight Miguel Cotto in June at Yankee Stadium.

Maybe, Pacquiao see’s a guy who has too much movement for him, a guy who will present him problems, unlike the guys who are willing to stand there and go toe to toe with the Filipino fighter, Yuri will box intelligently and showcase what the sweet science is all about.
Joshua Clottey will give Pacquiao a target to hit, he will go toe to toe with the Pacman, while Foreman will box, use his ring generalship, hit and not get hit and confuse Pacquiao.
Foreman might remind Pacquiao of Juan Manuel Marquez, but taller and stronger.
Make sure you watch Foreman when he fights Miguel Cotto on HBO, Foreman is the most underrated fighter in the game right now and people over look him because he has few knock outs.
Foreman getting with legendary trainer Emanuel Steward was a great decision, Foreman is only going to get better.
