Erik “El Terrible” Morales (48-6, 34 KOs), the last man to defeat Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, returns to the ring on March 27, 2010. Morales, 33, is on a quest to make history and looks to capture a 4th world title in a 4th weight class, something no other Mexican boxer has accomplished. The ambitious Morales also seeks a 4th fight with pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao.
In order for Erik Morales to achieve his goal, he must first get passed tough young Nicuagran Jose Alfaro (23-5, 20 KOs) on March 27. Alfaro is a former WBA lightweight champion known for his knockout power.
Erik Morales vs. Jose Alfaro will be at a catch-weight of 142-pounds just above the junior-welterweight limit.
