After watching the Road to Dallas: Manny Pacquao Vs. Joshua Clottey HBO countdown show, I couldn’t help but laugh at the remark Manny Pacquiao made in regards to the drug testing protocol that he refused to take for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight.
Pacquiao said he doesn’t even know what steroids are….Yes, he doesn’t know what steroids are. I find that hard to believe, if you didn’t know what a steroid is, why are you even suing?
If someone claims you are on something, and you’re not on anything, you take a test to prove them wrong, clear your name that way, and you can win the case because you just proved you’re clean, and were falsely accused.
I know this Mayweather/Pacquiao steroid test argument is tired, but Manny needs a better Public Relations person, someone who helps him prep for questions better.
Anyone who has been in a sporting profession for as long as Manny Pacquiao has, knows what a steroid is, you don’t have to take steroids to know what they do or what they are.
When someone refuses to take blood tests, switches up their reasons why, and claims to not know what a steroid is, no wonder why people have their suspicions.
To make matters worse, Manny Pacquiao won’t be taking any type of drug tests before his fight with Joshua Clottey on March 13.
