The UFC 111: Georges St-Pierre vs. Dan Hardy pre-fight press conference was held on Wednesday at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City, following the presser, Dana White had his usual media sit-down where he would answer the media questions.
When the topic of UFC possibly doing a show at the Jerry Jones owned Dallas Cowboys stadium, Dana White told reporters his main reason for attending the March 13, HBO PPV between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey, wasn’t to scope out the stadium for a future UFC event, but to see Manny Pacquiao fight.
“I went there to watch Manny Pacquiao,” White told media. “Then I did end up seeing the stadium and saying, ‘Wow, this is nice. We could do this.’ Even though that fight sucked, it wasn’t Manny Pacquiao’s fault. He went after it so much to the point where he was dropping his hands hoping Clottey would open up.
“I think Manny Pacquiao is boxing right now. The thing I love about him is when you start hitting him, he starts firing back. He doesn’t budge. I love Manny Pacquiao.”
