March 20, 2010, Heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko knocked out Eddie Chambers in Duesseldorf, Germany in front of a crowd of 51,000 cheering fans to retain his IBO,WBO, IBF and Ring Magazine heavyweight belts Saturday night.
Klitschko used his size and reach advantage, keeping the smaller American challenger at distance with his jab, preventing Chambers from coming inside. The only real action Chambers had through out the fight was when he picked up Klitschko on several occasions and slammed him to the canvas.
Wladimir Klitschko dominated the entire fight and ended it in the 12th round with a left hook just seconds before the final bell. Eddie Chambers remained slumped over and dangling through the ropes until the ref and his corner came back to help him back to consciousness.
