Victor Conte of BALCO Laboratories, the man who supplied Mosley with designer steroids and EPO, released a video on Youtube exposing a testimony by Shane Mosley on October 27, 2009. In the video Shane Mosley openly admits to knowing that he was taking an illegal drug called EPO, this goes against Mosley’s recent interviews claiming he had no idea what he was taking and was tricked into taking something illegal.
In various media interviews Shane Mosley said he didn’t know the stuff he was taking before his fight with Oscar De La Hoya was illegal. Shane Mosley never tested positive for any drugs but he openly admitted to a grand jury that he was given drugs from BALCO Labs before his fight with Oscar De La Hoya in 2003. Mosley has distanced himself from the people who introduced him to the BALCO designer steroids and insists he has been clean ever since.
Brian Kenny of ESPN interviewed Shane Mosley after his win over Antonio Margarito and (at 5:08 into the video) asks Mosley about the BALCO testimony. Mosley responds by saying he is not that type of person to involve himself with (steroids) and he was tricked into using them.

Sugar Shane Mosley is currently preparing for the biggest fight of his career against undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 1, 2010.
Part of his contractual obligation for the Mayweather fight is to undergo the strict Olympic style drug testing procedure that Manny Pacquiao refused to submit to, to prove he is clean. The USADA blood testing was evidenced in the first episode of HBO 24/7 Mayweather-Mosley, both fighters were shown giving blood and urine samples.
