On May 22, 1993, Roy Jones Jr. defeated Bernard Hopkins by decision, since that loss Hopkins has been begging for a chance to redeem himself against Roy Jones Jr., the wait is over, the rematch between Roy Jones Jr. and Bernard Hopkins is finally here. A rematch that took 17-years in the making has finally come to fruition. On Saturday, April 3, 2010 the two boxing legends will finally meet up in the ring again.
Hopkins at the age of 45 hasn’t lost a step, while Jones Jr. has been on the down-slide losing his last fight to Australian Danny Green by knockout.
Sugar Ray Leonard will be the special guest boxing commentator for Roy Jones Jr. vs. Bernard Hopkins.
