I received alot of negative feedback for my article Manny Pacquiao doesn’t deserve “Fighter of the Decade” award and the majority of hateful, insulting comments came from Pacquiao fanboys (what a big surprise). For the record I don’t hate Manny Pacquiao at all, just can’t stand his ignorant fans.
I am not a paid writer or care to be a middle ground writer who stays neutral, I’m just a die hard boxing fan with my own opinion. It clearly states you can share your own opinion on this site, but I doubt you Pacman fans have the guts to send in articles to sites because you will curl in a ball and hide in your blanket from the criticism you may receive on your limited boxing knowledge. It’s so easy to leave vulgar, insulting and idiotic comments hiding behind your computer.
If you notice these Pacquiao fans will blast Floyd Mayweather and other fighters and are OK with it, but the moment someone says something that doesn’t praise Manny Pacquiao its blasphemous or an insult.THIS IS WHY THE MAJORITY OF PACQUIAO FANATICS HAVE NO CREDIBILITY AT ALL WHEN IT COMES TO BOXING KNOWLEDGE!!! ALL THEY DO IS SEARCH FOR PACQUIAO AND LEAVE KISS ASS COMMENTS OR RACIAL INSULTS TOWARDS BLACKS AND LATINO FIGHTERS WHO WANT TO CHALLENGE PACMAN.
I ain’t the only one to come under fire from biased Pacquiao fanatics, another writer on Nowboxing.com named Jordan Buscarini who wrote this article 3 Reasons Why Mayweather-Pacquiao Will Not Happen, was blasted by biased Pacquiao obsessed non-boxing fanboys…just because Jordan stated the facts on the Mayweather-Pacquiao situation he attacked. Like Jack Nicholson said in the movie A Few Good Men “You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth,” you Pac turds can’t handle the truth.
Now many of you who left comments keep saying; “Pacquiao is a religious, Charitable person, who went from poor to rich”, “Pac is humble”…..hahaha WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH BOXING???
That’s all fine and dandy that Pacquiao is a nice guy and helps the poor, but that has jack all to do with boxing. So from the Pacquiao fans point of view, in order to be a boxing legend you must gain credibility only by being a humble person who helps the poor and won an election in a third world country? Now that is extremely irrelevant and laughable!
“Pacquiao beat more Hall of Fame fighters than Floyd Mayweather”……Pacquiao beat hall of fame fighters….but all past their primes or not at 100 percent!
Marco Antonio Barrera in 2003 was unfocused during his training camp. He had fires, his manager exposed his metal plate in his head, and he didn’t have a complete camp.
Pacquiao squeaked out a draw against Juan Manuel Marquez in 2004 and got a gift decision in their rematch. I still laugh at the lame excuse Pacquiao used saying that he wore cheap socks and had blisters on his toes that’s why he couldn’t finish Marquez off in their first fight. In my opinion, Juan Manuel Marquez defeated Pacquiao in their two fights. I don’t care what you have to say, anyone who is unbiased and watched both fights knows that Manny lost…how do you knock down a fighter 3 times in the first round and don’t finish him in the second round? Pacman was getting his butt countered all night long in both fights with no answer.
A past his prime Erik Morales whooped Pacman’s behind so bad in their first fight (Pacquiao claimed he lost to Morales in 2005 because they took blood from him and he had to wear Winning gloves LOL). In the rematch Pacquiao and Freddie Roach didn’t let Erik Morales fight them at 132 and Morales was beating Pacquiao up before he gassed out and Pacquiao took advantage of that stopping Morales. The rubbermatch was useless Morales couldn’t make 130 anymore and it was sad to see the Pacfans celebrate such a meaningless knockout victory over a faded Mexican legend.
Oscar De La Hoya was done, he was a dead man in the ring and wasn’t allowed to weigh above 147 pounds! another catch weight fight, all Pacquiao gets credit for in this fight is beating a well known fighter that’s all.
Ricky Hatton was shot, the guy balloons up to 190 pounds when he doesn’t fight and Floyd Mayweather Jr. softened him up for Manny. Hatton had the worst training camp and was clearly unfocused for the fight.
Miguel Cotto was damaged goods! He was in too many wars, got his face mashed in by Antonio Margarito, and was in a life and death fight with Joshua Clottey. A prime Cotto would have beat the mustache off Manny, if Cotto was landing his jab so easy in the first round then Floyd would touch his face all night like he was painting a picture.
Joshua Clottey not a hall of famer more like a human turtle shell. Joshua Clottey didn’t even throw many punches in that fight, but when he did throw he hurt Manny and after the fight Clottey’s face was flawless no damage compared to Pacquiao who was covered in bruises and had marks all over his face. If Clottey was an aggressor Pacman would have been out before the third round.
That is why Pacquiao doesn’t deserve “Fighter of the Decade.” All he has is name fighters on his resume, but he doesn’t have quality wins against them in their PRIMES! Floyd Mayweather Jr., Bernard Hopkins, Joe Calzaghe, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko are all more deserving of the award and have accomplished far greater accolades “In the Ring” than Manny Pacquiao.
P.S – And just because I choose to have the comments section on my article closed this time doesn’t mean I cannot handle the replies. I am just sick of the useless racist banter and biased BS comments spamming up my article. If you have nothing positive or intelligent to reply don’t bother.
