It seems that Floyd Mayweather Jr. got a taste of his own medicine, he tried to ruin Manny Pacquiao’s image to the public with his steroid allegations and telling everyone that Manny Pacquiao was afraid to fight him because he didn’t want to take the blood tests.
Now that Manny Pacquiao agreed to everything that was requested before, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his entire team left the building.
Bob Arum told all the media during his deadline telephone conference that he had no contact with Golden Boy promotions or Floyd Mayweather and the only person who was trying his hardest to make this fight on Mayweather’s side was adviser Al Haymon, yes, that Al Haymon, the man who Bob Arum didn’t like doing deals with.
Bob Arum working with Al Haymon? If Arum and Haymon were actually agreeing on terms you can tell Arum really wants to make this fight. Even Ross Greenburg of HBO sports told Arum that Haymon was trying his hardest to get Floyd to accept the fight but Floyd didn’t.
Floyd Mayweather got officially exposed. I wonder what he is gonna tell the media now? If he says he needs to rest or he’s too busy, then, that is no excuse because Manny Pacquiao is a congressman in the Philippines who is 100 times busier than Floyd Mayweather Jr. and can still make time in his busy schedule to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr..
Manny Pacquiao is super busy but he wants to give the fans the fight they want to see. He is so appreciative of the boxing fans that he understands they deserve to be entertained because they pay their hard earned money to see him fight, while Mayweather doesn’t even smile at his fans when they walk by him on the street, and doesn’t care about them at all. It is what it is. Arum and Pacquiao called Mayweather’s bluff.
Many of the Floyd Mayweather fans were making excuses for Floyd, they said things like Floyd was just hyping the fight when he denied the sick teenager Armando Carral from Make a wish foundation that he won’t fight for a couple of years.
Turns out Floyd was telling the truth he is probably going into retirement or waiting for Manny Pacquiao to lose or slow down before he fights him.
I can picture the conversation at the Mayweather household:
Floyd Senior: “Son, I don’t want you fighting no southpaw like Manny right now. Do like you did when the boxing fans wanted to see you fight a prime Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito wait for them to lose then come out to the media and tell them how they were overrated. So wait till Pacquiao lose and then tell the public how overrated he was without his steroids and fight a rematch with Ricky Hatton in England.”
Floyd Mayweather Jr.: “Dad you right, ain’t no way I’m gonna fight that Filipino dude he might knock my ass out for reals, and I won’t be able to make no cash no more cause people gonna see me lose and never pay for my fights again.”
Oscar De La Hoya: Floyd don’t worry man, I fought Pacquiao and his punches don’t hurt. I think you can beat him Floyd. If his punches hurt just do what I did when I fought Bernard Hopkins and lay down
Roger Mayweather: “Man, shut yo lying ass up Oscar De La Hoya, you don’t know sh#t about boxing.Man, dat boy on dat der A-side meth, that M#tha-F8cker gone whoop yo ass Floyd! Pacman ain’t no joke just don’t agree to dat fight cause you ain’t gonna have no shot at Pacman he is bulletproof. What yo feather punches and brittle hands gone do when that lil Filipino gonna eat yo punches and he gonna throw a hundred back at yo ass? If I was you F*ck Pacquiao and wait for his ass to lose cause right now you ain’t got a chance unless you take two pints of blood from him 24 hours from the fight to weaken his ass.”
The excuses keep coming in from the Mayweather side, yet they keep saying how easy it is to beat Manny Pacquiao and how he has no skills. Well if you can beat Manny Pacquiao then fight him and make easy money or forever be ridiculed by the media and the public as a coward and fraud.
