Top Rank promoter, Bob Arum, announced at the beginning of his international teleconference concerning the Mayweather deadline of exclusivity for the Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. super-fight that Floyd’s camp never responded.
Arum revealed that Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer and Team Mayweather didn’t have any discussions with Arum to try to make the fight happen, all negotiations went through Ross Greenburg of HBO and Mayweather’s adviser Al Haymon.
Ross Greenburg relayed the dealings of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather terms to Bob Arum and Team Mayweather but they weren’t able to come to an agreement on the Mayweather side.
The Mayweather-Pacquiao negotiations are not over but Arum can now negotiate fights with other fighters like Antonio Margarito and Miguel Cotto for Manny Pacquiao to face on November 13 if Mayweather doesn’t step up and take the fight.
