The former Jr. welterweight and welterweight champion, Zab “Super” Judah (38-6-0, 26 KOs)returns to the boxing right Friday night July 16 on ESPN2 FNF (Friday Night Fights).
Judah, 32, is looking to turn his career by returning to the 140 pound division and fighting the champions of the weight class from Amir Khan, Timothy Bradley and Devon Alexander.
Zab’s opponent will be rugged Mexican boxer, Jose Armando Santa Cruz, (28-4-0, 17 KOs) a former lightweight who is now contending as a Jr. welterweight.
Yoel Judah, Zab’s father and trainer, feels that Judah would be a perfect replacement opponent for Manny Pacquiao if Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn’t sign the contract to face Pacquiao by midnight tonight.
Watch Zab Judah vs. Jose Armando Santa Cruz on ESPN2 live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey at 9 PM ET/PT.
