Manny Pacquiao’s November 13 opponent, Antonio Margarito, is growing more and more confident as the press-tour announcing the fight looms. Margarito was cleared to fight in the State of Texas after being rejected of a boxing license in California, the State he was originally suspended from because of loaded wraps being found in his gloves just minutes before he lost to Sugar Shane Mosley by Knockout.
According to an article by Hesiquio Balderas of Philboxing.com, The Tijuana Tornado, Antonio Margarito, said he would knockout the Filipino boxing icon and after he does that, he will gladly fight retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya.
“I don’t know what he has against me, I really don’t understand, what I do know is that he had a big influence in the California State Athletic Commission with everything he said against me, I am upset because he talked too much and said some nasty things and he has a shady past himself that most of us know about.”
“I hope he takes off the fishnet, stop acting like a sissy and fight me, if you have something against me then get in the ring and fight,” said Antonio Margarito of possibly fighting Oscar De La hoya.
Margarito continued to further show his confidence, “I will knock Pacquiao out, and show the world that I am back, this is the fight of my life and Manny will be in for a tough night, I wont quit like De La Hoya did.”
The Antonio Margarito vs. Manny Pacquiao fight will be broadcast on HBO pay-per-view on November 13 at the new Dallas Cowboys football stadium in Texas, HBO 24/7 will cover the lead up of to the fight and tickets will be priced from $700 for ringside and $50 for upper deck seats.
