Showtime MMA and Strikeforce heads to Houston, Texas with a world championship Mixed Martial Arts doubleheader.
The main event is a light-heavyweight title bout, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal (Champion) vs. Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante. King Mo will defend his Strikeforce title for the first time since winning it against Gegard Mousasi in April.
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialist Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza will fight US Army sniper Tim Kennedy for the vacant Strikeforce middleweight title that was vacated by Jake Shields, who recently left the company to fight for the UFC.
Boxer/MMA fighter KJ Noons will fight Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blackbelt and former UFC fighter, Jorge Gurgel, in a fight that will put the winner into title contention for the lightweight Strikeforce title held by Gilbert Melendez.
Also Former WWE superstar, Bobby Lashley will fight firefighter/paramedic Chad Griggs in a Heavyweight bought on the televised undercard.
