The tickets for the Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito junior middleweight title showdown on November 13 officially went on sale Saturday, Sept. 18.
Ticket prices range from $700, $500, $300, $200, $100, and $50 and can be ordered at the Cowboys Stadium box office or at Ticketmaster.com.
Manny Pacquiao last fought at Cowboys Stadium on March 13, 2010 against Joshua Clottey, selling over 50,000 tickets for an event that many critics said wouldn’t sell over 20,000 tickets, showing Pacquiao’s star power in the United States. For this event Bob Arum is hoping for more than 50,000 in live attendance, since Margarito has an action fight style and large Hispanic following in Texas.
This will be promoter Bob Arum and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones second boxing event together at the Dallas Cowboys facility. Pacquiao has the privilege of being the first boxer to headline at the new Cowboys Stadium in it’s first boxing event, this will be the second boxing event for Pacquiao at Cowboys Stadium.
HBO will cover the Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito event with the hit series HBO 24/7 “Pacquiao/Margarito” beginning on Oct. 23, and broadcast it Live on HBO PPV for $54.95.
