Saturday night in Frankfurt, Germany, Wladimir Klitschko retained his IBF,IBO, Ring, and WBO heavyweight titles when he stopped Samuel Peter in the 10th round by TKO.
The fight was pretty much controlled by Wladimir Klitschko, it was different than their first fight in 2005, where Peter was able to knock down Wladimir Klitschko three times in a much more competitive fight that Peter would lose on the scorecards.
Peter didn’t offer any type of fight. He basically clinched up and looked tired through out the fight. Wladimir systematically broke him down with his jab and clinch style until he dropped Peter in the 10th round with a combo causing Referee Robert Byrd to call a stop to the fight at 1:22 seconds of the round.
