Now you see it, now you don’t Boom! That was a devastating knockout suffered by Paul Williams. Sergio Martinez has this great fight plan in his mind that if executed right it will be amazing and he did. They might have seen the Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton fight and make a game plan out of it. They know that Paul Williams will move forward without a defense and they formulate a stance that mimicked that of Manny Pacquiao and the result is an awesome knockout.
People are now talking about Williams being an over rated boxer because of what happened. Are you kidding me? That dude who knocked out him deserves the accolades because of his performance and not because of his opponent being over rated. I wonder now what Bernard Hopkins may say. I hope his African American slick boxer argument will not surface again saying Paul Williams is not really that slick, (laughs!)
I would love to see Sergio Martinez versus Manny Pacquiao for the 154-pound Junior Middleweight championship belt. This may sounds crazy right now but it will make sense in the future. Remember Antonio Margarito beat Sergio Martinez before so if you sum it up there will be a chance that the two can make it out inside the ring. Remember the Pacquiao vs Oscar De La Hoya argument that he is too big, so what happened. I wonder again if Pacquiao beats Sergio Martinez people may say he is an old 36 years old. Oh people are people.
Can Pacquiao manage to slug it out with Martinez? Yes he can, this will be a blood bath contest. This is better than Pacquiao vs Mayweather. Don’t expect the other match; Floyd Mayweather will never fight again. So for now, let’s just appreciate the beauty of the king of boxing ring, the left hander’s, the unorthodox boxers.
Will you agree with a Manny Pacquiao versus Sergio Martinez bout?
