WBA Heavyweight championship bout David Haye vs. Audley Harrison ‘The Best of Enemies.’
The brash British boxing champion David Haye will take on an old friend in former Olympic boxing gold medalist Audley Harrison on Saturday night at the M.E.N. Arena.
Haye vs. Klitschko was the fight everyone in the boxing world wants to see, but Haye claims the slave like contract demands by the Klitschko brothers is what prevented the heavyweight unification bouts to happen.
Audley Harrison was a highly touted prospect and was considered British boxing and the Heavyweight divisions future champion and star, but his career didn’t go as planned and he never really lived up to his hype after winning the gold medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
Audley has never held the title belt, but tonight he looks to win the belt for the first time and accomplish his goal of finally becoming the heavyweight boxing champion after many setbacks.
The Haye vs. Harrison fight airs on SKY box office Saturday Nov. 13, 2010 at M.E.N. Arena, Manchester, Lancashire, United Kingdom. The fight is unavailable on US TV networks.
