Long running CBS news show “60 Minutes” will air a segment on popular Filipino boxer Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao Sunday Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
60 Minutes correspondent Bob Simon will profile Manny Pacquiao and take an in depth look at his life as a politician, fighter and a man of the people. Growing concerns in the Pacquiao camp are that his main focus is more on his political career and not his boxing career. Manny Pacquiao has a fight on November 13, 2010 at the giant Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington, Texas where he faces arguably the toughest and biggest foe he has ever faced in Antonio Margarito of Mexico. The disgraced Margarito, who is coming off a suspension for illegal handwraps, wants to clear his name by defeating Manny Pacquiao on Nov. 13.
Pacquiao will also be featured in a segment on the new online Web show, “60 Minutes Overtime,” were viewers can watch extra video on the topics covered on the show, just go to the CBSnews.com website and search 60 Minutes and watch the replay of the Nov. 7th episode of 60 Minutes with Manny Pacquiao that also features a conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama after it airs on CBS.
