Brooklyn boxer Zab “Super” Judah (39-6, 27 KOs) will fight Argentinean knockout puncher Lucas Matthysse (27-0, 25 KOs) on Saturday November 6 (11:15 p.m. ET/PT) as the main event on HBO’s Boxing After Dark broadcast live from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
The 32-year-old Judah, is looking for another shot at glory after a lot of ups and downs in boxing he will drop down to the stacked 140-pound division where he first started out. Judah must first get passed the undefeated power puncher from Argentina, Lucas Matthysse, who wants to also make a name for himself by beating the former junior welterweight and welterweight champion Judah.
On the undercard is Robert Guerrero (27-1-1, 18 KOs) versus 2004 U.S. Olympian Vicente Escobedo (22-2, 14 KOs) in a 10-round non-title lightweight bout.
Judah vs. Matthysse and Guerrero vs. Escobedo will be shown at 11:15 p.m. ET/PT on HBO immediately following HBO 24/7 Pacquiao/Margarito episode 3.
