Some clown writer is making it look like Juan Manuel Marquez is chicken and ducking Manny Pacquiao and Andre Berto, that is a load of crap.
To call the Mexican warrior, Juan Manuel Marquez, a chicken is the most ridiculous insult one can say to a true legend. It is really a low blow by someone who clearly has no knowledge of what he speaks.
Don’t get it twisted, it’s clear as day that the one doing the ducking here is Manny Pacquiao aka the Duck-Man.
The only type of people who don’t see it are people who barely started watching boxing or just follow Manny Pacquiao and take his side unconditionally.
So Marquez should be forced to fight WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto who is young, strong, fast and will outweigh Marquez by 25 pounds? Come on, that is the talk of a true hater and a clown.
Marquez has every right to a fight with Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao arguably lost, well in the eyes of credible boxing people, Pacquiao lost two fights against Marquez and was given a draw and a split decision win.
Marquez flew all the way to the Philippines after their second fight with a contract in hand and confronted Manny Pacquiao to his face in a stadium filled with thousands of Filipinos and everyone laughed at Pacquiao when he didn’t sign the contract and couldn’t answer Marquez’s challenge for a rubbermatch…HIS OWN COUNTRYMEN LAUGHED AT HIM! And many Filipinos even told Juan Manuel Marquez that he beat Manny.
Also this clown writer said that Marquez isn’t a warrior??? Have you seen his last fights? He goes to war with Juan Diaz, Michael Katsidis, Joel Casamayor. Marquez isn’t chicken he digs deep and puts on exciting fights when he is pressed. You might knock Marquez down but he will get up and fight hard because he is a True Warrior.
You claim that Marquez doesn’t got a “do or die” approach to anything inside or outside the ring…Sorry to say this…but you are a MORON. So I guess calling out Floyd Mayweather Jr. and moving up to welterweight to fight the best pound for pound fighter in the world isn’t brave or “do or die” like you put it? So going to the Philippines with a contract for a rubbermatch with Manny Pacquiao right after their second fight isn’t “do or die,” fighting younger hungry pressure fighters like Michael Katsidis and Juan Diaz isn’t “do or die”?
The one who isn’t “do or die” is Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao is too scared to call out Floyd Mayweather Jr, his handlers Freddie Roach and Bob Arum line him up with old, slow, washed up fighters or guys they feel Manny can beat up easily, instead of putting him in with young lions or challenges like Andre Berto, Marquez or Sergio Martinez.
You also said Marquez will probably fight Erik Morales, which you describe as a safer choice, so tell me what is the difference between Manny Pacquiao fighting Shane Mosley and Marquez fighting Erik Morales?
I’ll answer: Marquez is older than Morales, and Erik Morales is coming off a winning streak, also there is history there people wanna see a Marquez vs. Morales fight because when these two were at featherweight they never mixed it up or fought, the fight has intrigue and a story to it. Pacquiao vs. Mosley, Pacquiao is in his prime of his career, Pacquiao is younger than Mosley, Mosley hasn’t looked good in his last fights, he is aging and lacks stamina, and nobody wants to see this fight.
So even if Marquez fights Erik Morales which is the safer choice in your eyes, this Morales is actually a more credible fight than Pacquiao’s fight with Mosley.
Name one fighter that Manny Pacquiao has fought in the last two years who is coming off a string of impressive victories, a dominant performance, or is in his prime?
YOU CAN’T!!!!
