Since Manny Pacquiao is fighting granddaddy Shane Mosley on May 7th and ducked Floyd Mayweather by refusing to take random blood tests, Floyd’s best option is a fight with undefeated boxer Paul Spadafora at welterweight.
This is the best comeback fight for Floyd because there is history between the two boxers and Spadafora is a southpaw which would help Floyd get ready for a possible Manny Pacquiao fight if Manny doesn’t chicken out again.
A lot of Floyd Mayweather haters keep bringing up the 1999 Paul Spadafora vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. sparring footage and keep saying Floyd got beat up in sparring. I can do nothing but laugh at this because sparring ain’t real fighting and Floyd wasn’t even going 100 percent while Spadafora was.

If Floyd decides to come back from vacation soon, I would love for him to fight Spadafora just to shut up the critics that said Mayweather got beat up by Spadafora in sparring and was ducking him at lightweight.
Floyd would give Paul his first loss and I would put my money on it. The fight would be the most marketable fight for Floyd and a real test because Spadafora is a better technical southpaw boxer than Manny Pacquiao.
