ESPN2 Friday Night Fights returns for its 13th season January 7, 2011 with a main event headlined by undefeated Russian Provodnikov (17-0, 11 Kos) and Mauricio Herrera (15-1, 7 KOs) in a 12-round junior welterweight (140lbs) non title fight.
The January-August series run of “Friday Night Fights” will feature 31 aired fights in 2011 (two more televised fights than 2010).
ESPN2 will also have fight dates on Super Bowl weekend in Dallas/Ft. Worth area and in Las Vegas on the eve of the May 7, 2011 Manny Pacquiao vs Shane Mosley championship fight.
Along with great fights you can watch and listen to award winning boxing commentators Joe Tessitore, ringside analyst Teddy Atlas and studio host Brian Kenny all returning to the weekly boxing series for 2011.

Junior welterweights: Ruslan Provodnikov vs. Mauricio Herrera, 12 rounds
Junior middleweights: Demetrius Andrade vs. Alberto Herrera, 8 rounds
Junior featherweights: Richard Contreras vs. Juan Tepos, 4 rounds
Junior welterweights: Deth’Marcus Hall vs. Oscar Andrade, 4 rounds
Junior lightweights: Lonnie Smith vs. TBA, 6 rounds
Junior lightweights: Jesus Gutierrez vs. Frankie Martinez, 4 rounds
Cruiserweights: Henry Namauu vs. Manuel Otero, 6 rounds
