It looks like Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao will never fight in the boxing ring at all. Floyd is busy doing things with his best buddy rapper 50 Cent like promoting a movie production company and filming reality shows.
Former Mayweather opponent and boxing champion Zab Judah recently told OnTheRopesBoxingRadio that he ran into Floyd Mayweather Jr. and asked Floyd if he was ever going to get back into the ring again and this is what he had to say:
“(laughs) That’s funny. I had seen Floyd yesterday and asked, Are you going to get back in there?’ Mayweather told me he’s finished. He said he was just going to chill. He’s thinking about taking a two year break and I mean listen. The man worked hard for a long time. He maintained an undefeated record and he maintained a great position in the game of boxing,” said Judah.
I wonder how the Floyd Mayweather fans feel about their favorite boxer not fighting anymore. Do they think Floyd’s accomplishments in the boxing ring are enough to solidify himself among the top 10 greatest pound for pound boxers of all time or while their man is on vacation will they just continue to discredit Manny Pacquiao while he continues to add fights to his legacy while carrying boxing on his back?
It’s obvious that Floyd Mayweather has no hunger to fight, but more importantly he carries himself in a selfish way. He knows how important a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight is but he rather not give the boxing fans the fight they want to see, remember if it wasn’t for the boxing fans he wouldn’t be filthy rich.
Manny Pacquiao on the other hand, loves the boxing fans and shows his gratitude to them by fighting on in his prime to keep the fans happy. You gotta love Pacquiao, he is a congressman, entertainer, businessman, and boxer, and I guarantee he has a lot more things on his plate than Mayweather does. Even if Manny doesn’t love the sport as much as he did when he was younger, he knows without the boxing fans he would be nobody and without boxing he would still be that poor boy living on the streets of Manila.
Manny Pacquiao already surpassed Floyd Mayweather as a boxer and as a human being.

I am an avid fan of boxing and video games. My first fight of memory was watching Prince Naseem Hamed destroy Kevin Kelly. I enjoy all aspects of the sport. My favorite current boxer is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. My favorite boxing match is Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo 1. I love watching boxing on Pay-Per-View more than being there live because you can really enjoy and watch the action from the best view.
