Every boxer has their weakness, a style that gives them great difficulty in a fight, and for Manny Pacquiao that style is the slick, quick, defensive boxers.
You know how I know this? Because he has never fought any slick or defensive boxers since his two controversial fights to Juan Manuel Marquez, yes, the same Marquez who got dominated by Floyd Mayweather Jr., and people say Manny has a chance against Floyd when Pacquiao went life and death with the guy Floyd just beat, now that’s making me laugh.
Watch when Manny Pacquiao fights old Shane Mosley on May 7, you are gonna see that Manny will have some trouble with Mosley and he will get tagged in that fight, it’s because Mosley has more speed than Manny will be used too. Floyd dominated Mosley and even took his best punches in round two and still weather that storm. Any other fighter would have crumbled from those right hands by Mosley — it goes to show you how sturdy Floyd’s chin is.
Freddie Roach knows Manny’s weaknesses, that is why he is protecting Manny Pacquiao from slick fighters in their primes, guys like Andre Berto, Timothy Bradley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. If Pacquiao faced Floyd he would be so frustrated because he would be in against a guy who will hit him without getting hit.
There is only one boxer in all of boxing that I seen that has no weakness and his name is Floyd Mayweather Jr. the pound 4 pound best in boxing today and possibly of all times.
Floyd has fought all styles and beat all of them. Nobody has been able to dominate him in a fight and that is because he is a truly special and rare fighter. The man is truly a marvel and we have to be thankful for having Mayweather fight in our era.
