I didn’t buy the Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight as I knew that it was going to be a weak fight but I certainly didn’t expect the love feast I saw on YouTube. It seemed Manny Pacquiao missed over 50% of his punches and never was able to land hardly any square punches, plus they kissed after every round and before every round. There were times in the early rounds whereby “Shame Mosley” was fighting with his gloves open, meaning no fist, not closed. And my God man what was that, six or seven or more head-buts and of course the kiss after every head-butt.
Shame, Shame, Shame on Manny and Shame on “Shame Mosley”. If Manny Pacquiao can’t hit an old man like “Shame Mosley”, how is he going to hit the man with the best know defense in the game, Floyd Mayweather. “Shame Mosley” just stepped out of the way and he did that incorrectly, he stepped straight back and not to the side.
I wrote an article not long ago asking if there were any sugar left in the sugar bowl of Sugar Shane Mosley of which I answered no, there is not any sugar left in the bowl. I was correct then and I’m correct now. The fight was a sham and Shane to me is now known as “Shame Mosley”, as he did nothing to win the fight and all that he could do not to hurt Manny Pacquiao. I have never seen anything like it.
In the third round when “Shame Mosley” went down to what they said was a hard left hand to the side of the face, I saw him get to his feet, shamefully and reluctantly say to the Ref “I’m OK” then “Shame”and Manny kissed before they continued the round and once again nothing happened in the round. Manny didn’t test the head of “Shame” to see if he had rattled him or not. Manny added no pressure to his attack and when the round was over they kissed again. This just isn’t done in boxing.
It appeared to me that Shame was simply in it to get a paycheck and Manny was going through the motions, mostly missing the 39 year old slow footed “Shame Mosley”.
Going forward I would like all boxing fans to now refer to Shane Mosley as “Shame Mosley” simply because it was a shame to watch that scam.
Once again I state, “There is no sugar left in the Sugar bowl” and it’s a Shame.
Goodnight forever Shane Mosley you have tarnished your legacy like no other.
p.s. Manny will have to be much, much better to beat Mayweather.
