Undefeated Welsh WBO light heavyweight boxing champ, Nathan Cleverly (21-0, 10 KOs), will defend his new title (Juergen Braehmer the original opponent was stripped of his WBO title after withdrawing from the fight last minute due to injury) against replacement opponent Poland’s Aleksy Kuziemski (21-2, 5 KOs) at the O2 Arena (Millenium Dome), Greenwich, London, United Kingdom on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. ET on Epix and Sky Box Office (UK) for British viewers.
But the bout boxing fans are looking forward to the most is the co-feature between two of Britain’s promising rising super middleweight stars, James DeGale vs. George Groves. Both fighters are undefeated and have a history together, Groves defeated DeGale in the amateur ranks. James DeGale went on to win the 2008 Olympic gold medal for the UK in boxing. DeGale vs. Groves is being likened to the modern day version of a familiar British boxing rivalry Nigel Benn vs. Chris Eubank. They will fight for the British and Commonwealth 168-pound title belts.
Also on the UK undercard will be Frankie Gavin vs. Young Mutley and Sam Sexton.
Watch Nathan Cleverly vs. Aleksy Kuziemski, James DeGale vs. George Groves live on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 4PM ET/PT on EPIX.
