Whenever someone says Manny Pacquiao sucks and they try to discredit his entire career, that person is a hater. Usually they’re either a Racist and have something against Filipinos or a Floyd Mayweather fanboy or both.
There are people who are critical of Manny Pacquiao and critical of Floyd Mayweather Jr., but they don’t say they suck or hate on them. A true boxing fan doesn’t go into INTENSE HATRED mode unless they are fanatics. I know people who are not big fans of Pacquiao and they don’t say “Pacquiao sucks, he is a joke!”, or other childish insults, they still give him credit for his achievements. The main reason they don’t really follow Pacquiao much is because they are not a fan of his aggressive combination punching style and prefer watching technical defensive boxers.
But anytime someone tells me Manny Pacquiao sucks or puts up an article or video blasting him, I say how can you hate on Manny Pacquiao, the most exciting and humble superstar boxer today? Some actually say it’s because he is a fraud and media hype with too many bandwagon fans “Pactards” as they call it or because he isn’t the same race as them. Most of the time it’s racial, just go do a search for Pacquiao on YouTube and you will see videos insulting Pacquiao, the Philippines and the white man. The ironic thing is if you don’t like Mayweather they will label you a racist or if you’re black an Uncle Tom, while they are slamming the white man, Filipinos and Pacquiao on their videos. If that person was really a white racist, they wouldn’t like either Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather since they’re both minorities and not white.
I could understand if you dislike someone who talks trash but doesn’t back it up and acts like a whiny diva like Mayweather does, but how can you hate a guy like Pacquiao who doesn’t talk trash and tries his hardest to put on an exciting fight? He doesn’t pick and choose who he fights, he leaves that up to his promoter, all he does is train and kick some butt when the time comes. How can you not love a fighter like that?
