Recently The Superstar read an article on a supposed pro Mayweather site. The writer of this article was answering a series of question and one answer stood from the rest and The Superstar was compelled to put in his $2, The Superstar does not have 2 cents, only dollars. The Superstar will shorten the question and answer but they will be exact from the article.
Question: What made you think Pacquiao has to abide by Mayweathers request of random blood testing?
Fighthype: In my opinion, it just seems to be easier for Pacquiao to simply agree than it would get for Mayweather to drop the request. It’s obvious that, for whatever reason, wants all of his opponents to take the test if they want an opportunity to fight him. Shane Mosley took the test without incident, and now Victor Ortiz has agreed to take them. In order for this fight to make a reality, I don’t see why Pacquiao can’t do something that two other fighters have agreed to do before him.(Source)
We can all agree, Manny did agree to take random blood testing up to 7 days. It may not be the exact one Floyd is demanding his other opponents are willing to do but then again those other opponents are not the #1 ranked Welterweight Champion of the world and also certainly not the #1 Pound for Pound fighter in the world for which Manny is both. And currently Manny Pacquiao is the economic bell cow to the sport of boxing. It is like comparing gold to copper. Which one is more value? But what is more important and obvious to The Superstar, were the other two – Shane Mosley and Victor Ortiz, subjected to a smear campaign done by Floyd Mayweather Jr, Floyd Mayweather Sr, and Roger Mayweather? Were Victor Ortiz and Shane Mosley subjected to this kind of racist denigrating humiliation? Watch these videos and ask yourself, were Shane and Victor subjected to this? And The Superstar reminds you, this is just a few of many videos
Floyd Mayweather’s Racist Rant Caught On Tape – This video has been re-edited and the part where Floyd clearly accused Manny of taking power pellets was removed. But The Superstar has another video that has the part were the accusation was removed. It is clear as crystal when Floyd Mayweather Jr accused Manny of taking or eating “power pellets” – Watch the unedited version (Go to 3:20 of the video)
The Superstar will provide you the audio interview where Uncle Roger Mayweather clearly accuses Manny Pacquiao of taking a mythical Filipino drug called A-Side Meth. To this day, over 100 million Filipinos have no idea what this mythical drug is. This A-Side Meth supposedly made bullets bounce off Filipino soldiers according to Roger Mayweather. This is just a small sample of the Mayweathers’ mentality.Listen to Roger Mayweather talk about A-Side Meth on the Boxing Truth Radio Show
And we also have the father Floyd Mayweather Sr, who has provided many videos clearly accusing Manny Pacquiao of taking PED’s (Performance Enhancing Drugs). But The Superstar will provide this video which interestingly will be used in court. Video: Floyd Mayweather Sr. accuses Manny Pacquiao of taking steroids, supplements
And here is a compilation where all the Mayweathers directly accuse Manny of taking PED’s.
Video compilation: The Mayweathers Accuse Pacquiao Of Using Drugs
Now should we ask Fighthype or anyone else questioning why Manny should do what Victor and Shane are willing to do. Were they subjected to this kind of slander and smear campaign? But The Superstar found another person who was directly accused of being a cheater and told that he is on drugs. And this fighter was demanded to take the TEST. It is none other than Bernard Hopkins. Here is the video where Jean Pascal directly accused Bernard Hopkins he is a cheater. Video: Jean Pascal demands Hopkins take drug tests and calls him a cheater
And here is Bernard Hopkins response to Jean Pascal’s drug testing demands.Video: Bernard Hopkins responds to Pascals drug testing demands and drug accusations
In an interview with Sport Illustrated, this is what Bernard Hopkins ended up doing because of the baseless and damaging accusations by Pascal.
“One thing is certain: Hopkins is done fighting with Pascal. At least in the ring. Hopkins says he is moving forward with plans to file a defamation suit against Pascal in Canada for comments Pascal made on the press tour hinting that Hopkins was using performance-enhancing drugs. He says he has hired a “high-profile Canadian lawyer” to help with the lawsuit.
“When you are foolish in life, you have to be held accountable,” Hopkins said. “I’m coming after him strong. I didn’t talk about [the lawsuit] before the fight because I didn’t want it to look like it was sour grapes. I wanted to get the victory and teach him a lesson about my legacy. But I have never, ever used anything or taken any drug to bring out the best or worst in me to get an edge. I feel that at the end, when somebody says that you cheated, that person hasn’t followed my life.
“I never let myself get past 10 pounds overweight. You can say, ‘Bernard, he’s a loudmouth, he disrespects me,’ and that might be true. But to call me a cheat, I have to go after his jugular. … This is beyond boxing. If you are suggesting there is any doubt that I have done it the shortcut way, that is defamation of character. They were selling shirts out there that said, ‘Take the Test.’ I bought 10 of them and then we shut the stand down.
“You can’t do that. You can’t say something that you have no proof of. Don’t say I cheated, because of the way I look. I’m serious about this. … My lawyers have been gathering stuff up, off of YouTube. They have those shirts. I have to send a message. At the end of the day, I was damaged.”

Bernard Hopkins and Manny Pacquiao have more in common than Victor Ortiz or Shane Mosley. Bernard and Manny were accused directly by their opponents that they are cheaters and their successes in the ring were all due to drugs. Again comparing Bernard and Manny to Victor Ortiz and Shane Mosley, it is like gold to copper. So in the end, what did Bernard and Manny do? They did not give in to their accusers, because the bottomline, who are they to accuse two athletes who have never tested positive for steroids, PED’s , or any mythical drug? But what they did do is they let their lawyers now take this matter and settle it in court.
And just to add, Victor Ortiz and Shane Mosley, were they subjected to such damaging false accusation that they had to file one of these? Boxing Defamation Suit
But if we put Victor Ortiz and Shane Mosley (pretend he never took steroids), and subject them to this kind of legacy damaging baseless accusation, The Superstar will guarantee the situation and outcome will be a lot different. The bottomline, the situation between Shane Mosley and Victor Ortiz to Manny Pacquiao and Bernard Hopkins is vastly different. Lets compare apples to apples, oranges to oranges and gold to gold, any other way it is not the same. Not even close.
