Do not fall for the fake “Patriotic American” act of Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. He was caught red handed on TMZ burning a one hundred dollar bill in a club. Burning US currency is an unpatriotic act and it shows Mayweathers true colors. He burned the money to show off in the club like he has money to burn. This is the same man who was trying to manipulate the American fight fans by defaming Manny Pacquiao’s name with steroid allegations, saying they should support him like they support the US troops, and uses the race card as a reason why more Americans root for Pacquiao over him. How about Mayweather do what other men do and just take responsibility for his actions and just realize most people don’t get behind him because of the way he carries himself.
The guy is an opportunist and knows how to use the media to his advantage. Floyd Mayweather die hard fans will blame the media and a claim a conspiracy theory against him because he is a young, rich black man who speaks his mind, and will again say that Floyd is a victim of racism and hatred, yet these same fans who defend Floyd’s every move will even say Manny Pacquiao is guilty of taking steroids without a shred of evidence at all. They are hypocrites that cry injustice, yet they are delivering injustice against Manny Pacquiao.

I guess you have to be just like Floyd to be a fan of his, and to say “I don’t care what he does outside of the ring, that is not why I am a fan of his, I respect his skills,” is a load of bull. People are fans for many reasons, but most of the time the reason that somebody is a fan of someone is because they CAN RELATE TO THEM in some sort of way. This means that many of Floyd Mayweather’s fans can relate to him. I mean, if a boxer was a jerk and murdered an innocent person, I cannot stand by them at all, no matter how skilled, I won’t respect them, (example: Edwin Valero I used to love his fighting style but I don’t respect him for killing his innocent wife and committing suicide — leaving his children without a mother). So to say you could careless if a guy was a bad person and a jerk outside of the ring just means you are probably one your self or you are okay with it.
Now for an unbiased opinion, I will say that on paper, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has the upperhand against Manny Pacquiao and should be the betting favorite. Floyd has the more refined technical skills, but that doesn’t always mean that person will win because Mayweather himself has so many skills but he lacks the heart of a lion, and heart is something that Manny Pacquiao brings to every fight. Manny Pacquiao has FIGHTING SPIRIT, this is why Americans respect him, because even though Manny Pacquiao is not an American, his patriotism towards his country, how he cares for the poor in the Philippines and the way he respects people from all walks of life is what endears him to people everywhere. Good hearted people will likely gravitate towards other good hearted people, like the saying goes,”birds of a feather flock together.”

I am an avid fan of boxing and video games. My first fight of memory was watching Prince Naseem Hamed destroy Kevin Kelly. I enjoy all aspects of the sport. My favorite current boxer is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. My favorite boxing match is Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo 1. I love watching boxing on Pay-Per-View more than being there live because you can really enjoy and watch the action from the best view.
