I am getting so sick of these two boxing egomaniacs, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Floyd “Money” Mayweather. These guys are a sore eye to boxing and can’t even get a fight between them made.
A real fighter will take the fight and not make any stipulations, Pacquiao and Mayweather have huge ego’s and think they’re above the sport of boxing and can call the shots.
In my eyes the real peoples champions are Sergio Martinez and the Klitschko brothers. Sergio Martinez will fight anyone and gets paid peanuts compared to Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. And Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko are cleaning out the heavyweight division.
Recently, Sergio Martinez told Boxing Futures that he is willing to go down to 154-pounds to fight either Mayweather or Pacquiao. Both Floyd and Manny fought for the WBC 154-pound title and won, Floyd fought Oscar De La Hoya and beat him at the 154 limit and Manny fought Antonio Margarito for the vacant title at a catchweight of 150-pounds (the WBC title was actually stripped from Sergio Martinez).
Anytime Sergio’s name is brought up the Floyd and Pacquiao fans always come up with excuses on why Sergio is not a good opponent. They will say that Sergio is too big and should pick on someone his own size, but they fail to see that Sergio is actually a small middleweight and only went up to 160-pounds because of an opportunity to fight for the middleweight title against Kelly Pavlik. The Floyd and Manny fans also tell Sergio to go up to 168-pounds, a weight that is too much for Sergio to climb and unrealistic.
Sergio Martinez is the most avoided man in boxing at the moment, and the two boxing superstars are afraid to step in the ring with him, this is a disgraceful act of cowardice on the behalf of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. A true champion fights all comers. Sergio Martinez is a true champion because he is willing to fight Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather but they are avoiding him just like they are avoiding each other.
