In life there’s always suckers falling for a bunch of lies sold to them by the media and in the case of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao he has millions of them following him and the media hype that surrounds him.
Don’t be fooled by the media promotions and don’t take personal feelings for someone into account when judging a boxers boxing capabilities. A lot of people who watch boxing don’t even study it closely — they just go for the fighter who is more action packed or throws more shots. A true fan of the sport, an aficionado realizes that Floyd Mayweather’s skills and ring IQ are too much for the wild punching Pacman. Floyd would toy with Manny and even stop him either by cuts or late KO. People just want to see Floyd Mayweather loses because of his cocky persona, but when the time comes to put their money where their mouth is, they lack the confidence to lay down big money on Pacquiao. If the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight happens, Floyd will be the betting favorite.
Manny Pacquiao’s new nickname should be “SLOPPY” Pacquiao because anytime he fights someone who has decent movement and doesn’t stand still in front of him, he looks sloppy and throws wild shots that miss — leaving himself open for devastating counter punches. Just watch this video below, and watch the entire video because I know you Pacquiao fanboys don’t even bother to watch factual videos and always unconditionally defend Pacman no matter what. Try to be unbiased for a once and really study his fights, and watch the video evidence below and tell me how can “Sloppy” Pacquiao beat Floyd Mayweather if he can’t hit a moving target?

Now after watching that video that clearly points out all of the amateurish mistakes Manny Pacquiao makes in the ring, it is also fair to say that Freddie Roach is an overrated trainer. Freddie even alludes to it. He always says how if it wasn’t for Manny Pacquiao he wouldn’t be as famous and sought after as he is today. Roach deserves more credit for hyping up Pacquiao than training him.
If Freddie Roach was such a great trainer, how come the only thing he could teach Manny Pacquiao to do is throw a right hand? Manny has no head movement, doesn’t know how to set traps, has no patience, doesn’t know how to cut off the ring, can’t hit a moving target, backs up with his hands down and drops his hands after throwing a combination — so tell me where are the improvements that Freddie Roach made with Pacquiao?
The truth is Manny Pacquiao is a carefully guided fighter, and Freddie Roach was the perfect manager/matchmaker more than he was a boxing trainer. Roach is one of the best matchmakers in boxing, he picks the right opponents to make Manny look great and the gullible people are buying into it thinking Pacquiao is David beating up Goliath, when in actuality he is nothing more than a media creation who fought washed up opponents that suit his wild bar room brawl style. If Manny was so great and fought a 170-pound Antonio Margarito, why doesn’t he fight Sergio Martinez at 154-pounds? Because Sergio Martinez is not only bigger than Manny, but, unlike Margarito, he is faster with more skill and would probably knock Manny Pacquiao out cold in the first round. If the slow motion Margarito was able to land over 200 punches on Manny, Sergio who is more accurate and faster would have no trouble landing his power shots on Manny. Sergio would put one of the most brutal beat downs in boxing history on Manny Pacquiao, and, Freddie Roach knows it. As long as Freddie Roach and Bob Arum are in control of “Sloppy” Pacquiao, you will never see him in the ring with someone who can move, has a pulse, or poses a real threat to their fighter.
