If boxing fans watched the last episode of Fox’s “In the Flow With Affion Crockett,” you would have enjoyed the American Idol skit with impersonations of boxer Manny Pacquiao and his trainer Freddie Roach.
I have to say this was the best impersonation of Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach I’ve ever seen. I was really impressed with Affion Crockett, I had no clue who he was before, and actually thought it was a Filipino guy impersonating Manny Pacquiao, but later found out he wasn’t Filipino he was black. The guy who played Freddie Roach was also spot on, he sounded like him and even had the same mannerisms of Freddie. I loved the part when Freddie Roach injects Manny with his “Vitamins” and Pacquiao goes berserk.
I’ll keep watching his show because of his impersonations alone, Affion does awesome impersonations of rappers like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake, and Lil Wayne. I hope he continues to do the Manny Pacquiao impersonation because he does it so well. The only criticism I have is the singing part because Affion’s voice was in tune and Manny’s voice is actually out of tune and painful on the ears.
