The return of the Emmy award winning HBO original sports series, HBO 24/7, will follow the undefeated Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. and Victor Ortiz as they prepare for their upcoming pay-per-view showdown on September 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This is HBO’s 10th installment of 24/7 that covers the sport of boxing, Floyd Mayweather appeared in the debut of 24/7 back in 2007 when he fought Oscar De La Hoya. Since then, Mayweather has appeared in five different installments of 24/7 and has been featured the most of any other boxer, Manny Pacquiao has the second most appearances with four and soon to tie Mayweather with five when he faces Juan Manuel Marquez in November, which will also have a 24/7 leading up to the fight. This is the first time Victor Ortiz will be featured on HBO 24/7.
Watch the premiere of HBO 24/7: Mayweather/Ortiz on Saturday, August 27, 2011 on HBO at 10:00 PM/7:00 PM ET/PT, CNN will also rebroadcast 24/7: Mayweather vs. Ortiz episodes two hours after each episode airs, through all four episodes.
