UFC 134: Anderson Silva vs. Okami is the second Ultimate Fighting Championship event to be held in Brazil since 1998’s UFC 17.5: Ultimate Brazil. UFC 134 will feature 2 rematches on the main card, a rematch between Forrest Griffin and Mauricio Shogun Rua, a fight that Griffin won by submission, and, the main event of the evening Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami, a fight that Silva lost by Disqualification after landing an illegal up kick to Okami’s face. Also Brazilian MMA legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira takes on young rising star Brendan Schaub.
The event will feature Free prelim fights on Facebook and Spike TV. UFC 134: Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami takes place on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Longtime UFC broadcaster Joe Rogan will not be doing commentary for this event, his replacement will be UFC fighter Kenny Florian.
