The Strikeforce World Heavyweight Grand Prix continues with Josh Barnett vs. Sergei Kharitonov. The Heavyweight Tournament semifinals also includes Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva vs. Daniel Cormier, who replaced Alistair Overeem. Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Kharitonov will air live on the Showtime premium cable network.The Strikeforce MMA event will place on Saturday, September 10, 2011 (10:35 PM ET/PT) at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The winners of Barnett vs. Kharitonov and Silva vs. Cormier will move on to the finals and the winner of that fight will be crowned the tournament winner. Also featured on the card are “King Mo” Muhammed Lawal vs. Roger Gracie; Strikeforce middleweight champ Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza vs. Luke Rockhold; and Pat Healy vs. Maximo Blanco.
