The Nishioka vs. Marquez world championship fight takes place on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Marquee Ballroom in the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The card will feature seven bouts with the first half available online via live stream and the second half, the main card, will be broadcast live on cable TV.
The Top Rank promoted card will feature two championship fights. The co-main event is a title fight for the WBA Light Flyweight belt, champion Roman Gonzalez of Nicaragua will defend his title against Omar Soto of Mexico.
