Sometimes people when they get on the top they look down to others or forget themselves and where they came from – in other words they get big headed.
Manny Pacquiao has everything, he has the fancy Ferrari, people massaging his feet, feeding him, bowing to him, and he some how didn’t have time to sign some items for me and other waiting fans, who waited hours outside of Wild Card Gym to get a glimpse or even a picture and autograph of their idol.
I saw first hand that instead of stopping he allowed his bodyguards to rush him away so he can rest at home. All of these stories I heard of Manny staying an extra hour just to sign autographs for the fans seemed to be exaggerations because that day, my simple request of only 10 or 20 items to be signed was rejected. After that I cannot even enjoy this fight of Pacquiao vs. Marquez.
With the sudden change and the arrogance of Team Pacquiao especially Alex Ariza saying that Juan Manuel Marquez has no chance, I believe that this will be the moment he will fall and be humbled back down to earth by Juan Manuel Marquez. Manny must remember that he was once a meager beggar on the streets of Manila and that everything he has can be taken away in the blink of an eye, all the fame and adulation’s. The fans is who made him and he must never forget this.
