HBO Boxing After Dark presents a dynamite showdown between two of boxing’s most exciting high action style light middleweight fighters Alfredo “El Perro” Angulo vs. James Kirkland.
Both Alfredo Angulo and James Kirkland are known for their aggressive styles. Angulo (20–1-0-17 KO) of Mexico is built in the mold of the typical Mexican warrior — a pressure fighter with a good chin. Kirkland (29–1-0-26 KOs) of Texas is reminiscent of a young Mike Tyson — pure offensive aggression.
Also on the HBO televised card is a Super Middleweight bout between the United States Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin and Scotland’s Craig McEwan.
