WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward is going to make a huge statement when he schools WBC champ Carl Froch and sends him back to England empty handed with no title or Super Six World Boxing Classic trophy.
Froch has been trying to talk big and thinks he can get into Andre Ward’s head but the truth is Andre Ward already got Froch beat.
In my eyes I think Carl Froch is the one who is nervous, he is talking big because he knows he got a gift decision over Andre Dirrell and he knows he can’t out class a masterful boxer like Andre Ward.
Ward is head and shoulders above Froch when it comes to accomplishments, he has a great amateur background, an Olympic gold medal and he has an undefeated record. Let’s not forget that Carl Froch has a loss to Mikkel Kessler, the same Kessler that Andre Ward already beat up.
If Froch couldn’t beat up Kessler after Ward beat him, how can he beat Andre Ward?
I’m not saying Carl Froch sucks, but I am just saying his skill level is nowhere near the likes of an Andre Ward, Bernard Hopkins or a Chad Dawson. The only thing Froch has is an ability to take hard punches and maybe he has a bit more power than Ward, but he doesn’t have that type of power that will make his opponents think twice about trading shots with him.
What you will see in Ward vs. Froch is a tough fighter having trouble trying to landing many clean shots on a very slick top class boxer. Ward will punch, get out, tie up, and turn Froch all night long. Carl will look frustrated trying to solve the Ward puzzle. Boxing fans are going to see why Andre Ward is one of the best boxers around after December 17.
I predict Andre Ward to win a 12-round unanimous decision and putting on a master class against Carl Froch.
