Well what do you know, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has to spend time in jail, while celebrities like Lindsay Lohan can get off scot-free and keep getting into trouble with drugs, missing their meetings, and disobeying the authorities.
It’s such a sad double standard that a successful black man like Floyd must serve time automatically while other celebs get off with a light sentence. I remember reading about how Charlie Sheen beat the crap out of his wife and was coked up yet he never served time in jail.
What about Mel Gibson who had actual evidence and recordings of him threatening his babies mom and even admitting that he hit her and he didn’t serve time. How about Casey Anthony? But Floyd Mayweather Jr. gets jail time. You gotta love how the justice system works, if you are rich and got the right complexion your in good arms.
I could see Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao breathing a sigh of relief after hearing the jail sentence. Pacquiao and Arum escaped from the inevitable ass whooping to come by Floyd Mayweather.
Now we can all look forward to another boring and controversial fourth fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao, and the ending will be the same: Pacquiao getting a gift decision again and Marquez getting robbed. Or we will see Pacquiao vs. Tim Bradley or a Miguel Cotto rematch at a catch weight, just so Bob Arum can keep it in house and maximize his profits.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire Pacquiao side jumped for joy hearing that Floyd will have to serve time in jail for a possible 90 days. It gives Bob another reason to justify why he has been protecting Manny from Floyd.
No matter what, keep your head up Floyd and stay focused in jail, and after you do your time, I hope you come out with a chip on your shoulder and take out all that pent up frustration and release it in the boxing ring on that hype job Manny Pacquiao.
