There are those who believe that Floyd Mayweather has called out Manny Pacquiao for 5th May, but I say this:
So Floyd Mayweather has “agreed” to fight Manny Pacquiao, but on what conditions?
My guess is that he will insist on USADA (United States Anti Doping Agency) testing, as opposed to WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) testing, and then he will say that the USADA does not have reps in the Philippines, and cannot fly to the Philippines every now and then re: drug testing, thereby implying that Manny should train exclusively in the USA. Manny Pacquiao should agree, subject to Floyd training exclusively in the Philippines!
Also, is Floyd Mayweather agreeable to a 50-50 split? In addition, does Manny have to drop the lawsuit? When Floyd mentioned the possibility of the 5th of May, and many of my friends mentioned this in excitement, I said, “5th May of which year…2016 or 2020 or sometime later?
My suggestion: Don’t get excited about the prospect of a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. As for who is the better fighter, we will never know. What we do know is that Floyd has better all-round skills. Then again, many fighters of the past had better all-round skills than their opponents and still lost…
