In recent news from the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao has claimed that he was a bad man before doing bad things like gambling, drinking and womanizing but now he has changed himself and is now studying the Bible.
I personally experienced the arrogance of the Pacman when I visited the Wild Card Boxing Gym in Hollywood, Manny was ignoring the majority of the fans and he refused to sign several of my items, and the ones he did sign he ruined the signature making it hard to sell on Ebay. I remember asking him politely if he would take a picture with me while I hold up the signed gloves, but he refused, actually he didn’t even look at me he ignored me completely.
This change could just be Manny making a political move, to improve his image to the Filipino people for future votes. If he really changed, I would like to see if he will again stay after workout for a few hours until he signs every fans items and takes pictures with them like he used to do before he became big time and a politician. If he continues to ignore his fans we will know his true nature.
Maybe also he knows that he cannot defeat Tim Bradley or even Floyd Mayweather Jr., and he is already making an excuse for when he loses or for why he didn’t fight Mayweather. We must remember Manny Pacquiao is no longer the peoples champion, he has been corrupted by politics and now he has become one of them — they will say whatever needs to be said to improve their image for votes. Now let us see if his change is really true.
