God loves the homosexuals and lesbians!
Standing for what is right has been increasingly turning into a taboo in countless modern places on the planet. The more outspoken gullible sector nowadays tend to side with the wrong to push for the bizarre so they can fashion sin in its various appealing shapes and sizes to become norms for the entire community to embrace and swallow (and for some sinister political purposes).
Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is so celebrated a persona in the public eye that every time he says something of substance the world takes notice. At times his pronouncement would stir an uproar and furor like in his recent controversial comment about the same-sex marriage issue.
No, the issue did not damage Pacquiao. It has enhanced him like no other way. Nike and the rest of the corporations that hire Pacquiao have all the more reason to be happy having him as their product endorser.
Pacquiao is correct when he pointed out that he can be God’s effective ambassador to the world to declare the Good News due to his immense popularity and international stature as an athlete. Thus his forthrightness and uncompromising stance against gay marriage accomplished the purpose right, and served Heaven good to forewarn and save those for whom Christ was crucified.
What makes Pacquiao appears offensive to the gay community is not Pacquiao himself as a leading boxer for this generation. He did nothing wrong even as a religious person to validate the negative “repercussions” and criticisms being unfairly hurled at him as well as the innocent attributions to his good reputation from all corners as a result of his comments.
Pacquiao quickly clarified he is not against homosexuals. True enough, there is no reason for anybody to deride, condemn or discriminate gay people for what they are. We should instead be out-and-out sympathetic and supportive of them, not as homosexuals, but as a group of individuals in dire need of God’s love and light.
How can society’s few good men be catalysts for change when a great majority of those who believe and “banner” the truth keep mum and, in effect, allow the tide’s hostile flow to wreak continuous havoc to precious souls, and as opposed to nature or God’s original designs?
The well-known top pugilist from the Philippines who is now a born-again Christian is an exception to the common practice by so-called preachers because Pacman seems to take God’s Word to heart wherever he goes and under whatever circumstances by proclaiming The Word like it is without fear or favor, and with spontaneity.
Pacquiao clarified further that he did not specifically quote the Book of Leviticus. But whether he indeed quoted the Bible or not, the whole of Scripture strongly supports his belief that gay marriage is diametrically opposed to the will and commands of God on account that the same one true God detests the act of sexual engagement between two people of the same gender, much less when a government legalizes it. Pacman asserts his position on same-sex marriage. His very own words speak volumes from the truths and precepts of God’s Word to advance His Kingdom regarding the issue.
Pacquiao uttered words that may be remembered and quoted by future generations and leaders, “God’s words first… obey God’s laws before considering the laws of man.” Truly classic, “historical.”
It was The Truth spoken by Pacquiao, plain and simple, that did all the fuss and furor as complemented by the Scripture verse allegedly quoted by reporter Granville Ampong in his interview write-up that appeared in Examiner.com. Therefore what seems to be terribly wrong, then? Obvious.
The message has come across and it was such a flash in pitch darkness. No worries, truth hurts anyway. And truth heals.
Martin Luther, the great reformer, once said: “The Bible is alive, it speaks to me; the Bible has feet, it runs after me; the Bible has hands, it lays hold on me… Never mind the scribes – WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURES?”
“For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void (without producing any effect, useless), but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” – (Isaiah 55:10-11, Amplified Bible).
God is exceedingly delighted. Keep it up, kudos!
